Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
